0:06 – Good morning, good afternoon and good evening people of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, according to where each Guinean is at this time, with you Ildefonso Abaga Angué, President of the National Freedom Party of Equatorial Guinea, NFP. Now, we are at 1:30 pm local time in Houston, Texas; in Europe it is 8:30 pm and in Equatorial Guinea, it is 7:30 pm.
0:49 – Today, April 7, 2021, it’s been a month since the explosions occurred at the Nkoantoma military barracks, on March 7 of this year, where several Equatorial Guinean citizens died and until now the government of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea has not given true information to the people yet, and we hope that it will do so promptly. The government has to draw up a list of all those killed in this tragedy caused so that the people know the names of the deceased; the exact number of people who lost their lives in these explosions, the government has to do it, we demand it.
2:16 – Today I am not going to talk much, simply that the National Freedom Party of Equatorial Guinea, as we have always done, we come to show solidarity once again with all the victims of the 7M in particular and with the people of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea in general because that affects all of us.
2:45 – On the other hand, I congratulate and thank all those who are in this fight, whether they are political parties, Equatorial Guineans that own NGOs, audists, activists and the people in general. I encourage everybody to continue with the fight. We are going to achieve the objective, which is the democratization of Equatorial Guinea, our country has to be a free and democratic country in order to achieve what is called justice, which is to give each one what is rightfully theirs, Equatorial Guinea will have justice, this must be taken into consideration.
3:38 – I end with Nelson Mandela’s phrase, “It always seems impossible until it is done,” we will achieve our goal. We must be optimistic, because optimism always wins.
4:00 – May God bless you and may God bless the Republic of Equatorial Guinea! Thank you very much fellow citizens.
